Our original sourdough starter is over 30 years old, that originated from California, USA and is composed of the finest flour, water and organic grapes. This starter is blended with only natural ingredients of wheat flour, malted barley flour, water, salt and yeast. Once shaped, the dough has a long slow fermentation giving the roll an open, waxy texture, chewy crust and a mild flavour which makes it the perfect base for any sandwich or meal accompaniment.
